Sarah Ismail is an Egyptian-American young woman who was born in New Jersey and has been living in Central Florida for the majority of her life. She is in her final year of her Undergraduate studies at Rollins College, where she studies Critical Media and Cultural Studies with a minor in Social Entrepreneurship. Sarah is also the President of the Muslim Student Union at her college.

Sarah enjoys spending most of her time doing volunteer work with various organizations including the Arab American Community Center, New Image Youth Center, the Global Peace Film Festival, etc. She is an intern at Audubon Park School, where she educates students about the Sustainable Development Goals and helps them develop solutions in their community.

Sarah is a devout Muslim and a perpetual student of the Quran. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge about the beautiful and peaceful message of Islam with non-Muslims and Muslims that are interested in learning more about the religion.

The mission of Interfaith Council of Lake County, Inc. is to create a better, more peaceful, more harmonious community by encouraging and facilitating greater interest in, understanding of, respect for and cooperation among our county's many faith traditions, as well as non-theists and humanists.
